Electric car charger installation
We install electric car charging points in villas, shared-garage spaces, businesses and hotels in Valencia, sized to your contract and your car, and without tripping the power when everything runs at once.
Domotica Valencia installs electric vehicle chargers (wallboxes) in homes, shared garages, businesses and accommodation: power study, circuit and protection to Spain’s ITC-BT-52 low-voltage regulation, dynamic load management to avoid raising the contracted power, solar surplus charging, control from the app or home automation, and the installation certificate.
Who it is for
- Villas and homes with a garage
- Spaces in shared garages
- Businesses with fleets or customer parking
- Hotels, rural houses and accommodation
What is included
Prior study
Contracted power, circuit route, car and usage habits.
Circuit and protection
Dedicated circuit, residual current and surge protection to ITC-BT-52.
Dynamic management
The charger lowers its power when the home uses a lot, so the contract need not rise.
Solar charging
Use solar panel surplus to charge the car.
Control and schedules
App, RFID cards and off-peak scheduling.
Paperwork
Notice to the owners’ association, installation certificate and help with current grants.
Solutions by location
| Location | Usual setup | Key points |
|---|---|---|
| Villa or home with garage | 7.4 kW single-phase or 11 kW three-phase wallbox | Dynamic management to avoid raising contracted power; solar charging with panels. |
| Space in a shared garage | Wallbox fed from the home’s meter or with its own meter | Notifying the association is enough; the cable route is studied on the visit. |
| Whole shared garage | Collective pre-installation and chargers with joint load management | Shares available power among all spaces. |
| Business or fleet | Several chargers with user identification and consumption records | Control of who charges, how much and when; remote management via OCPP. |
| Hotel or accommodation | Chargers for guests | Access by card or app and the option to charge for it. |
A safe and compliant installation
- Dedicated circuit for the charger, with cable sized for power and distance.
- Suitable residual current protection for charging and surge protection.
- Installation scheme under ITC-BT-52: from the home’s meter, with its own meter or collective.
- Work carried out by a licensed low-voltage electrical installer, with the electrical installation certificate on completion.
- Mode 3 chargers with Type 2 connector, the European standard.
Integration with home automation and energy
The charger can be integrated into home automation or systems such as Wiser to schedule charging in off-peak hours, charge from solar surplus or pause when the home needs the power. The car charges as cheaply as possible without you watching it.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need the owners’ association’s permission?
For a private charging point in an individual space, Spain’s Horizontal Property Act only requires prior notice to the association. We help you draft it with the cable route.
Do I need to raise my contracted power?
Not always. With dynamic load management, the charger adapts to what the home uses at each moment. We assess it against your contract and consumption.
Are there grants for the charger?
State grants are in transition after the end of the MOVES III programme. Before installing we check which call is open and what documents it requires.
How long does charging take?
It depends on charger power, the car’s on-board charger and the battery. Our power guide explains it with a table.

It is the most common question from people living in flats: whether the association can block it and where the cable runs. The law makes it easier, but it must be done properly.

More power does not always mean faster charging: the car’s on-board charger, the home installation and your daily mileage decide.
