Starlink installation: satellite internet
We install Starlink in and around Valencia for country houses, villas, warehouses and businesses where fibre does not reach or is unreliable: the dish properly aimed and fixed, protected cabling and a WiFi network covering the whole home or plot.
Domotica Valencia installs and configures Starlink satellite internet: obstruction survey, dish mounting on roof, wall or mast, sealed cable entry, integration with a router or professional WiFi network, automatic fibre or 4G backup for businesses and remote access setup for cameras and automation. The customer contracts the Starlink service directly.

When Starlink makes sense
- Homes and warehouses with no fibre or adequate mobile coverage.
- Second homes and rural houses needing connected cameras, alarm and automation.
- Businesses that cannot go offline: Starlink as a backup connection.
- Building sites and temporary facilities needing internet for months.
A properly done installation
- The dish needs clear sky: trees, buildings or the roof itself can cause drop-outs. We check before fixing it.
- Firm, wind-rated fixing, especially on roofs and exposed areas.
- Protected cable and a sealed wall entry to prevent leaks.
- Starlink router in bypass mode when integrated with a professional network, so WiFi and separate networks are managed from one device.
Cameras and remote access over Starlink
On standard plans, Starlink does not assign a dedicated public IP address, so router ports cannot be opened to view cameras or the recorder. We set up access through the manufacturer’s cloud or a VPN, which is also the more secure option.
In off-grid installations powered by solar panels, the continuous consumption of the Starlink equipment must be factored into battery and panel sizing.

Frequently asked questions
Who contracts the Starlink service?
The customer, directly with Starlink, which bills the subscription. We handle installation, the indoor network and integration with other systems.
Does it work in the rain?
Yes, although very heavy rain can briefly reduce speed. A good location free of obstructions matters most for stability.
Can Starlink back up my fibre?
Yes. With a dual-WAN router, if the fibre drops, traffic switches to Starlink automatically and returns when it recovers.
