The LS family has straight lines and slim frames: LS 990 is the classic square in plastic or metal and LS 1912 brings back the toggle switch. The A family has more contemporary frames: A 550 with soft lines, A FLOW with rounded corners and A CREATION with plastic or glass frames. All accept conventional and KNX inserts and, in many cases, JUNG HOME.
The ranges at a glance
Ranges and finishes change with the manufacturer’s catalogue; before finalising the project we check each reference’s availability.
| Range | Look | Materials and finishes | Fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| LS 990 | Square, flat and timeless | Plastics, metals such as steel, aluminium, brass or chrome, and Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier colours | Almost any project, classic to minimalist. |
| LS 1912 | Toggle switch, the lever is the only ornament | Several lever shapes, metals and Le Corbusier colours | Homes with character, restorations and industrial style. |
| A 550 | Soft, balanced lines | Plastics in several colours | Contemporary homes on a tighter budget. |
| A FLOW | Rounded-corner frame and angular rocker | Thermoplastic, including matt finishes | Contemporary interiors. |
| A CREATION | Mix-and-match frames; in glass, a floating effect on the wall | Plastic or safety glass in several colours | Interior design projects that play with colour. |
Tips for choosing
- Ask for a physical sample: the finish changes a lot with the room’s light.
- Think about the whole home: sockets, dimmers, KNX push-buttons and data outlets must exist in the chosen range.
- If there will be automation, choose a range that takes the push-buttons or displays you need, such as LS TOUCH on an LS frame.
- In high-use areas like the kitchen or entrance, matt or metal finishes hide fingerprints better.
